“It was a pretty crunch match for us and, at that stage of the game, I didn’t really know what way it (the game) was going to go, so I just had to dig in, just play through the pain barrier a little bit,” he said.

The 21-year-old was then asked how painful it was.

“Very, it was pretty painful,” he said.
