The latest round of recipients for the Victorian government’s Emergency Services Volunteer Sustainability Grants included $50,364 for a nine-seater mini bus for CFA’s District 23 headquarters.
Others grants included $14,320 for thermal imaging cameras, go-pros and a roof for a pergola at Tallangatta Fire Brigade and $68,750 for a saw and angle grinder at Gundowring.
Northern Victoria MLC Jaclyn Symes said grants would assist emergency volunteers in their crucial work.
“This is an exciting day for our amazing volunteers in Northern Victoria and I congratulate all our grant recipients and hope that it assists them in the outstanding job they do in keeping the community safe,” she said.
