Strike weapons fire in a high-scoring round of the AWFA senior ladies competition

A four-goal haul from Brea Quinlivan helped Albury United to a comfortable 6-0 win against Albury Hotspurs at Jelbart Park on Sunday.

League leaders Albury City only managed to get one through the Myrtleford defence, but remained undefeated with a 1-0 victory.

Bridget McDiarmid was the lone goal scorer for the match.

Bianca Mulqueen scored all of Wangaratta’s goals in their 4-1 win at home to St Pats, moving them to outright fifth position.

Wodonga Diamonds also got back in some good form with a 5-1 triumph against Melrose.

Jovana Bukvic wasn’t to be outdone with four goals of her own for Diamonds.

Boomers and Cobram each had the bye.
