The Bike-Food-Trail will run on September 12, 15 and 16 to coincide with Enviroweek 2017.
The Sustainable Activity Centre (SAC) director Claire Greenhaigh said cyclists would discover bike, food and trail resources at four pit-stops.
She said the urban bike trail would connect riders with opportunities on their doorstep.
“It’s about awareness, knowledge and connection with the array of food and volunteer opportunities in Wodonga,” she said.
Ms Greenhaigh said cyclists started the event with homemade quiche at Birallee Park Neighbourhood House at 9.30am before going to Albury Wodonga Regional FoodShare and Junction Place, ending at The SAC for lunch catered by the Bhutanese Community Farm.
The 12-kilometre ride is of light/moderate intensity.
It’s an initiative of Wodonga City Council, Birallee Park Neighbourhood House, Parklands Albury Wodonga, Albury Wodonga Regional FoodShare, Bhutanese Community Farm and The SAC.
Bookings via Eventbrite.
Riders must be 14+ and use their own bike and helmet.
