JINDERA defender Sharna Holland has been rewarded for her consistency by taking out the A grade netball best and fairest at Henty on Wednesday night.

After finishing fifth last season and being a strong vote-getter throughout her career, Holland topped the count with 33 votes. She held off pre-count favourite and last year’s winner Beck O'Connell by two votes with CDHBU young gun Brooke Wilson finishing third on 27.
“I wasn't expecting that,” Holland said.
“I thought I had a good season, but Beck O'Connell is a really good player.
“It's a big surprise.”

Brocklesby-Burrumbuttock, who finished the home and away series on top of the ladder in five of the seven grades, dominated the other senior best and fairests.
Kara Field was victorious in B grade with 26 votes from Rand-Walbundrie-Walla goal-shooter Sarah Mathews, Tahnee Flower was a runaway winner in C grade and Jessica Tracey took out C reserve.
Promising Billabong Crows player Gabrielle Sutcliffe polled 35 votes to comfortably take out the 16 and under, Howlong’s Ebony Hoskin was successful in 14 and under and Brock-Burrum’s Mia Ennis won the 12 and under.
Brock-Burrum took out the club championship with 217 points from Rand-Walbundrie-Walla on 202.
