The NSW Plan B Regional Bash has moved from a knockout competition to a round robin, meaning teams will now play a minimum of three games.
The state has been divided into four regions, with Riverina comprising the Bullets, Wagga Sloggers, Murrumbidgee Rangers and Southern Riverina Vipers.
The top team from the four areas will meet in the semi-finals at the SCG on December 10, with those winners to contest the grand final later that day.
The Bullets won the inaugural title, but a century from Wagga’s Ethan Bartlett destroyed the Bullets last year.
“I think that would work better because obviously in the shorter format, it’s pretty easy for something to go wrong and you can’t really rectify it in that short time-frame,” star player Drew Cameron said.
The Bullets are home to Wagga on October 22.
