Lead lines performed great again so don’t be afraid to try to get down a bit using other methods too.
Streams despite the patchy weather were good this week even if they were a tad high. I got a couple myself drifting unweighted scrubbies about and heard of quite a few fishos doing well on a variety of lures.
Lake Hume has been patchy again but there were enough good trout caught to keep interest up for most fishos.
Chris Rudd and his dad picked up a good feed of reddies and a nice yella on the troll in the Murray arm this week so let’s hope that’s a sign of thing to come!
Graeme Wilson also nailed a couple of trout and a few small reddies on the troll but that’s where his luck ended. Poor bugger snapped his Achilles “jogging” up the boat ramp. That’ll slow him down a bit!
Lead lines performed great again.
Khancoban, Eucumbene and Jindabyne are all fishing pretty well.
Trolling larger minnow style lures Tassies and Jackals, as well as bait fishing with power bait or mudeyes seems to be working, with most people catching fish.
