NSW trout season opens

The first weekend in October is synonymous for many things: NSW Labour day holiday, AFL, NRL Grand Finals, and for some the most important day is the opening of the Trout Season in NSW. No longer having the relevance it once had here in the local area (For those who can remember the line of anglers below Lake Hume), this day is still held in awe on some well-known waterways.
