Paton and Butts have been selected for an under-18 All-Star game with talent scouts set to be out in force ahead of November’s draft.
"It’s another great opportunity for the boys to impress,” coach Leon Higgins said.
“They have worked hard to get their chance.
“The crowd will be building up for the Adelaide and Richmond game so it’s going to be a good experience.”
Paton and Butts, along with Charlie Spargo and Harry Jones, will represent the Bushrangers at the national AFL draft combine from October 3 to 6.
Daniel Johnston, Jy Lane, Alex Paech and Doulton Langlands will test at the NSW combine while Tom Boyd and Laitham Vandermeer are set to test in Victoria.
Meanwhile, Bushrangers’ Mark Marriott, Zane Barzen, Matt Walker, Ben Kelly and Hudson Garoni played in an under-17 All Star match at Geelong on Friday night.
