Charges laid after pedestrian Roberta Brown killed in Wangaratta

Roberta Brown was run over by a truck while walking her dog on Ryley Street on January 16.

She died at the scene, near the intersection of Warby Street. 

Aaron Bell, 27, recently faced a filing hearing in the Wangaratta Magistrates Court. 

He had been charged with one count of dangerous driving causing death following an investigation by the Melbourne-based Major Collision Investigation Unit. 

Bell will return to the court on December 14 for a committal mention. 

Mrs Brown, known as "Bobbie” to friends, was a married mother to three children. 

The 53-year-old had worked as an interior decorator, stylist and grew up in Wangaratta.
