Wodonga taxi stolen by alleged carjacker under influence of ice

The man accused of stealing a Wodonga taxi on armed with a weapon last week was allegedly using the drug ice at the time.

Michael Kennedy, 32, appeared in Wodonga Magistrates Court on Wednesday, but did not apply for bail.

Wearing a red and blue hooded jumper, he kept his arms crossed and did not say anything as his case was adjourned until February.

“He will be withdrawing from methamphetamine,” solicitor Mario Vaccaro told the court.
