In section two, Jacob jumped Clark, before the latter fought back for a two-game triumph.
Jenny Clark played well, while Angela Quirk was Jacob’s best.
Barber nabbed the points in an entertaining contest against Langford.
Ros Barber starred with a three-set haul, with Janet Buckton in touch for Langford.
Rosemary Symon was the standout in Huckstepp’s four-two victory over Jones in section three.
Nat Hines tried hard for Jones.
Lee had the better of Cannon, completing a five-one victory.
Beth Simpson was solid for the winners with June Kent and Shirley Friedrich claiming the fifth rubber for Cannon.
Meanwhile, Saturday’s round seven pennant was cancelled due to rain.
Wodonga Bulldogs have enjoyed an unbeaten start and will be home against second-placed St Patrick’s-Diggerville.
In the ladies, Wodonga Larrikins will be favourites against Slammers.
And on Sunday, juniors play in Wodonga, Tatura hosts the veterans, while Margaret Court Cup entries open Friday.
