Nathan Button stole the spotlight during the Gentleman of the Day competition in his pastel blue and white check suit, straw hat and impressive beard.
Mr Button said it took him 30 minutes to get ready and he was very pleased to win.
He said he'd always been interested in fashion and decided to enter the competition to show off what he’s got.
Karen Naughtin was named the Wodonga Gold Cup Lady of the Day for her fluoro outfit.
But it almost wasn’t to be for Mrs Naughtin, who had been preparing an outfit for the cup for months only to have a last minute change of heart.
Mrs Naughtin said she was inspired to mix things up after witnessing the fashions trackside at the Melbourne Cup.
“I swapped outfits about two weeks out,” she said.
“I picked it and fell in love.”
Mrs Naughtin wore a white and pink fluoro dress and matching jacket from Trelise Cooper, shoes from Myer, a fascinator by Dyonne Rhodes and accessories by Lovisa and ASOS.
She said as a mother of three, Wodonga Cup and Fashions on a Field was a great chance to get out of mum or exercise clothes and dress up.
“It’s not something I’m normally able to wear or I get the chance to wear with three little girls,” she said.
“It’s a day to dress up, have some fun with colour and creativity.”
Jindera’s Chelsea Collins won Millinery of the Day.
