Murray Conservatorium Orchestra will perform in concert at Rutherglen on Saturday night.
Together with the Murray Conservatorium Chamber Ensemble, the orchestra will perform exciting music from prolific composers such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn, Edward Elgar, Steven Bryant and Gustav Theodore Holst, featuring soloists Tara Chambers (violin) and Isabeau Hansen (flute).
It will perform Mozart’s Idomeneo Overture, Haydn’s Violin Concerto in C Major, Mozart’s Flute Concerto in G Major, Bryant’s Dusk and Holst’s Jupiter from The Planets.
The Murray Conservatorium Orchestra will be conducted by Damien Jones.
The orchestra will perform at Rutherglen Memorial Hall, 150 High Street, Rutherglen from 7.30pm.
Tickets available at the door cost $10 a person and $20 a family.
