DARCY Harding will join fellow former Albury-Wodonga Bandits player Joel Spear at the Diamond Valley Eagles for the 2018 SEABL season.

The dynamic stretch four’s departure will be a blow for the Bandits, despite signing two strong US imports in Lamar Mallory and Rashad Hassan.
With Diamond Valley gearing up for their first SEABL campaign this season, coach Grant Wallace told the club’s website Harding would make a sterling addition to their debut roster.
“He is a seasoned SEABL player with a wonderful ability to create,” he said.
“A versatile athletic player who can play inside and out, run the floor and rebound well and can most importantly defend bigs or guards.”
Harding averaged 11.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in 2017, and also showed flashed of improved passing ability.
He was also selected to represent Australia at the 3x3 Asia Cup in Malaysia at the end of 2013, starring alongside Lucas Barker, Owen Odigie and Andrew Steele to guide the team to a third-place finish.
The 2018 SEABL season tips off on April 6, while the Bandits will face the Eagles for the first time on June 16.
The Bandits’ imports are expected to arrive for training camp later in February.
