Their head-to-head with Wallan stands at 1-1.
Coach Paul Green said the Wolves’ quick transition is the key, along with Casey Ardern’s ability to protect the split at the other end.
Sarah Mellington is in contention for the conference MVP award with her ability to play at both ends, while BJ Green tops the conference in three-point scoring.
Tip-off is at 6pm at the Wodonga Sports and Leisure Centre.
Meanwhile, the Wolves men head down the highway to take on the Shepparton Gators on Saturday night after finishing third.
It’s also a knockout semi-final, so wins from both Wolves teams would see a home double-header in the grand final the following week.
Josh McKay has been in fine form, averaging 22.89 points per game and will no doubt be the target of a strong Gators’ defence.
The Wolves lost their last meeting with the Gators by five points, but with star guard Matthew Bartlett out injured, it may be a little easier to defend them.
Coach Broady Mills said the key to the clash is the bench, both on and off court.
The game tips-off in Shepparton at 8pm Saturday.
