Skipper Matt Knight found the boundary 14 times in his stellar knock of 91, while Josh Lawrence (77 from 92) and Brock McCabe (55 from 82) were also in good form.

“It’s a good pitch and a good outfield, so we had to set our sights pretty high and we’re pretty happy with 300,” Knight said.

“Brock was the pick of us, he batted beautifully.

“It was great for him to get a shot because he’s been coming in with two or three overs to go the whole year.”

City Colts were bundled out for 125, but Dylan Adams struck early to have Delatite 1-5 at stumps.

Fraser Ellis was the Colts’ best with 32, while Matt Stevenson and Patrick Marks claimed three wickets each for Delatite.

Rovers United-Bruck have the upper hand against Ovens Valley United, bowling them out for 128 and reaching 1-22 at stumps.
