All five games lost time to rain, with New City’s home clash against Lavington playing just 26.1 overs.
In short, if a game lost less than an hour, it resumes as a normal 80-over match.
If it loses up to two hours, the overs bowled on the opening day are added to next week’s full compliment (80) and divided by two.
And if a match loses more than two hours, it reverts to ordinary conditions, meaning New City, for example, could bat out another 80 overs, although it’s not in a position to do that, given it needs a result.
The Phoenix is 4-69 against Lavington.
Belvoir made 2-134 in just 44 overs against St Patrick’s.
Tallangatta posted 6-106 from 55.4 overs, with East Albury off-spinner Will McIntosh snaring 4-57.
And Wodonga Raiders appear headed for another winless season after being skittled for 52 by Albury.
Saturday’s early forecast is no rain, so there should be some manufactured results.
