The Border Mail has invited Chayse Montgomery, Ryan Klemke, Ashton Scholz and Darcy Doughty to share its site to sell their t-shirts, caps, beanies and stubby coolers to raise funds for Mission Australia.
The boys and their parents will man a stall at the agricultural extravaganza from September 18 to 20.
The boys spent Saturday selling their merchandise at the Henty Football Club where they raised $700 towards the CRAD (first letters of their names) fundraiser to help the homeless.
Mum Debbie Klemke said the distinctive black and white designs –including t-shirts with the names of all sponsors who had donated $100 or more to the cause – were now being seen around Henty.
“It’s great to see CRAD gear being worn – we had a junior football and netball club presentation the other night and a lot of people were wearing it,” she said.
“We’re hoping we’ll be able to give Mission Australia $15,000 if we sell everything.”
Items will be sold at the Henty Bakery until the field days and can be posted out (see the CRAD Facebook page).
