ALBURY will host to the Australian National Power Lifting Championships this weekend. About 90 lifters, including 10 from the Border, will battle it out over the two days with action to start at 10am today at the Commercial Club. NSW Co-ordinator Laurie Butler said he was excited by the depth of talent. “This is probably the best lot of heavy weightlifters the country has. It’s an unbelievable field of lifters with a number of local stars,” he said. “Greg Hills from Wodonga is one of the country’s best, while Taylor Young from Albury is a multiple world record holder. There will also be a lot of junior lifters, including Greg Gordon of Melbourne.”
