The hologram, at the Submarine Museum, sees the pint-sized Mrs Holbrook move eerily between solid artefacts and even clamber up and down stairs as if by magic.
The Submarine Museum got the idea for the hologram after Cowra's similar display on the Japanese PoW breakout of World War II.
It cost the museum about $80,000 to install.
