Fashion fillies are expected to flock to the Commander Holbrook Cup race meeting on Saturday for the chance to win fantastic prizes.
Holbrook club president Susie Finlay said the six-race program was shaping up to be a great day out with traditional Irish dancers, music from Albury band The Shades and a special appearance by “leprechauns”.
The race meeting, starting at 11am, attracts thousands of people from around the district and as far afield as Melbourne and Sydney.
Among the prizes for the most elegant lady, best dressed man and Miss Racegoer categories are luxury motel packages with Lindenwarrah at Milawa.
“The fashions just get bigger each year and we have great fields for all the racing,” Mrs Finlay said.
There will also be children’s entertainment and rides.
Adults $15 and children free.
