A MAN and a woman, arrested after a raid on a house at Lavington on Tuesday afternoon will remain in custody until they appear in Albury Local Court on Monday.

Police seized firearms, money, ammunition, cannabis and amphetamine in the raid.
Jonathan Robert Vandersluis, 30, and Aime Sargeant, 27, sought bail yesterday after their arrest at Eden Street, Lavington, on Tuesday.
Both appeared via video link before magistrate Megan Greenwood. She refused bail and adjourned the charges until Monday.
Police said they arrested Sargeant, of Connell Court, West Wodonga and Vandersluis, of Swan Street, North Albury, after they forced their way into the Lavington house.
They said they had seized two shortened firearms, a small quantity of what they alleged was cannabis and methamphetamine, as well as cash and ammunition.
Vandersluis was arrested on two outstanding warrants, related to failing to attend court on a disqualified driving charge and for breaching a bond for an intimidation offence.
He faced court on 14 other charges including two each of supplying a prohibited drug, possessing a prohibited drug and possessing a shortened firearm without authority; and one each of possessing equipment for the administration of a prohibited drug, knowingly dealing with the proceeds of crime, possessing an unauthorised firearm, not keeping a firearm safely, possessing or using a prohibited weapon without a permit, possessing an unregistered firearm, possessing ammunition without proper authority, and goods suspected as stolen on the premises.
There are 11 charges against Sargeant including two each of possessing a prohibited drug, supplying a prohibited drug and possessing a shortened firearm without authority; and one each of possessing or using a prohibited weapon without a permit, possessing ammunition without proper authority, not keeping a firearm safely, possessing an unauthorised firearm, knowingly dealing with the proceeds of crime and possession of equipment for administering prohibited drugs.
Police said two compressors and a generator they seized during the raid, were suspected of being stolen.
Detectives said yesterday they were seeking owners for the property and members of the public, who have had items of this sort stolen in the past year are asked to contact Albury police on (02) 6023 9299 with identification details of their property.
