Warren, 22, of Fairview Drive, Albury, yesterday pleaded guilty to an offensive conduct charge with an affray charge being withdrawn.
His solicitor, Paul Robb, said: “He has received what can only be described as extreme summary punishment.”
Mr Robb said Warren has suffered scarring and disfigurement of his left ear.
Warren faced more serious matters from an October 26 incident when he harassed a police officer, bared his buttocks, spat on the officer’s uniform and tried to punch him.
“There is nothing that can be said about his behaviour other than it was disgraceful,” Mr Robb said.
Warren was put on a two-year bond for assaulting police and a six-month bond for offensive behaviour after pleading guilty to both offences.
The policeman had spoken to a group in Sanger Street about 12.10am and Warren hit and kicked the officer’s vehicle and swore.
He spat on the windscreen, saying: “I’m here to party and I am going to party.”
Warren dropped his pants before spitting towards the officer, hitting him on the leg, and taking a swing at the officer, which was blocked by another man.
The officer took out his capsicum spray and Warren retreated.
Magistrate Megan Greenwood said both incidents showed what alcohol could do to someone.
