The option was raised by chairperson Ailsa Fox before the first meeting under their guidance last night following the sacking of the council in September.
The council holds regular meetings in rural areas including Eldorado, Cheshunt and Whorouly.
Mrs Fox said she welcomed community feedback on the possible change of arrangements.
She also flagged holding meetings at the earlier time of 5.30pm or 6pm.
“We are wondering whether holding council meetings in these areas is as effective as coming out for an hour or two and talking to you in a community forum,” Mrs Fox said.
“People instead of going home and coming back to council meetings at 7pm may like to come straight after work and then go home.”
Mrs Fox outlined before the meeting how administrators would conduct meetings.
There will be no moving and seconding of motions and decisions will be arrived at on consensus.
“We will be acting as a skills based board,” Mrs Fox said.
“We will make decisions based on information from officers and where needed proponents from the community.
“We are only three weeks into the job and still on a steep learning curve.”
Mrs Fox also revealed administrators will interview short-listed candidates for the council chief executive position tomorrow in Melbourne.
The council received about 40 applications.
The replacement chief executive could be appointed by early December.
The successful candidate will then appoint the corporate management team.
Acting directors Peter Mangan, Peter Godfrey and Patti Wenn will finish up in their roles at the end of the month.
Mrs Fox said they would be replaced by internal staff members Adrian Gasperoni, Penny Hargrave and Ruth Kneebone.
Meanwhile, a medical centre being jointly developed by former councillor, Dr Julian Fidge, was approved by administrators last night.
Dr Fidge was not present and none of the other former councillors attended.
