After improving in spades under North East coach of the year Terry Burgess at senior level, the club is turning its attention to its juniors.
Thirds coach Drew Cameron and assistant Josh Lieschke are focused on changing perceptions about the Saints.
Cameron, an established senior player at the Tallangatta and District league club, said any teenager looking for a club in town should look no further than Martin Park.
“We’re just encouraging kids to come down, have a kick and really enjoy their football as myself and Josh did as juniors,” Cameron said.
“We think we have a good understanding of modern football and believe this year is going to be big for our kids’ development.
“We’re looking to have some on-field success this year and build strong team foundations for next year and the future.
“The club has a lot to offer this year, with the new clubrooms, one of the best training grounds in the region, and our location is close to the all the high schools for training.”
