While the feature race lacks the quality of previous years, it looks set to be a hotly contested affair with no standouts among the field of 10.
The Jeffery Brown-trained and driven Smart Major looks the testing material after winning two of his three starts since resuming last month.
The Forbes-based pacer was a last-start winner at Bathurst and also won a $25,000 heat and final race at Menangle in September.
Club secretary Kevin Walsh said while the feature race lacked depth, the overall quality of the meeting was pleasing.
“It would have been nice to have couple of more runners in the feature with stronger form lines but it still looks a competitive race,” he said.
“But overall we are fairly happy and there should be some quality racing on the night.”
The $10,000 String Of Pearls and $10,000 2YO Jack Adams Memorial are the other features on the nine-race card.
The club had to scrap the Border Derby due to a lack of nominations.
Some attractive bonuses are also up for grabs.
With Albury, Wagga and Young harness racing clubs staging their premier meetings over the next three weeks, the clubs are putting up three separate bonuses.
There will be a $1000 cash bonus for the best performed Riverina-trained horse over the three meetings, the highest point scorer over the three cups and a random draw for any trainer who has a starter in any of the three feature races.
The first race of the TAB meeting is at 6.15pm with the last race at 10.12pm.
There is plenty of kids entertainment with $5 providing unlimited rides during the night.
Entry is $10 with Commercial Club members admitted free.
