Hailey, 23, appeared in Albury Local Court through a video link from Junee jail and pleaded guilty to demanding property in company with menaces with intent to steal, theft and knowingly take part in the supply of methamphetamine.
His sentencing has been listed for the District Court sittings starting on April 7 and magistrate Tony Murray ordered a pre-sentence report.
The court was told police established Operation Clavan in March last year to investigate Hailey, who was living with his girlfriend at the time.
A telephone intercept was granted on May 16 and remained in force until August 1.
Officers established that Hailey was selling 0.1 grams of ice for $100 and there were regular calls from associates asking for “P”, “shard” or a “point”.
Hailey was in contact with 10 different associates and 31 times agreed to supply, offered to supply or took part in an actual supply of small amounts ranging from 0.1 grams up to one gram.
He also participated in supplying cannabis with agreement to supply seven grams on four separate occasions and 14 grams at another time.
Officers arrested Hailey on August 28, charged him and he has been remanded in custody since.
Director of Public Prosecutions representative Andrew Hanshaw yesterday withdrew a robbery in company charge against Hailey after he pleaded guilty to the offence of demanding property with menace.
Hailey and Lavington man Michael Alan Witt stole property from a disabled man in Wagga Road about 10.35pm on July 25 last year.
The victim, 31, was looking for his lost hearing aid near the entrance to Blockbuster video store and shone a torch around the entrance door as he searched.
The victim called out to Witt and Hailey as they walked from Griffith Road to Wagga Road.
Witt approached the victim and, without warning, punched him in the face, causing a small cut.
He fell to the ground and Hailey said: “Empty your pockets and give us what you have”.
The victim produced a packet of cigarettes containing about 10 and a plastic lighter.
Hailey took them and they ran off towards the Boomerang Hotel.
Witt, 25, was previously committed for sentencing in the District Court on the same charge.
