Wodonga Detective Sen-Constable Justin Foots said a Wodonga man, 18, was arrested and charged yesterday with aggravated burglary, theft from four cars, theft from a boat and attempted theft in the early hours of December 16.
He was bailed to appear at the Wodonga Magistrates Court on July 1.
The aggravated burglary charge related to a break-in at a home where people drinking on a balcony at 2am saw people below walk out of their house carrying some of their belongings, Sen-Constable Foots said.
He said one other person was arrested and interviewed without charge.
Another person is expected to be interviewed today in relation to the matter.
Sen-Constable Foots called for the public’s help in locating a large, soft orange bag containing boat safety equipment.
The bag was dumped near the Springdale Heights Tavern in Lavington on or soon after December 16.
