The Wodonga franchise, on Victoria Cross Parade next to Woolworths, started trading on Monday.
More than 100 casual and part-time jobs will be created by the franchises.
Work is still under way on a Hungry Jack’s associated with The Spargo Group as part of Barnawartha North’s new truck service centre on the Murray Valley Highway.
It is scheduled to open in June.
National marketing director Paul Tredinnick said Wodonga’s operations manager Tamara Pickard was a Border resident who had been with the fast food chain for eight years.
The restaurant will open from 6am to 10.30pm, seven days a week.
