The 60s American Muscle Car Club of Victoria president has driven his butterscotch coloured “mid-life crisis mobile” to the Border to join up with up to 50 other classic cars.
The Chevrolet Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes and Pontiacs rolled in from Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra for their fourth annual Albury weekend meet yesterday afternoon.
“I was looking so much forward to it — I said ‘only three sleeps to go’,” Mr Craven said.
“You guys don’t know how lucky you are up here, there’s great weather, great scenery, it’s well worth the drive.”
The cars are taking a rally to Mitta today and they will be on show at QEII Square from 9.30am to 12.30pm tomorrow.
Money raised will go to the Rural Fire Service.
