The trio turned in strong performances for Group 9 in their 44-28 win over Group 20 at Wagga’s Equex Centre on Saturday night.
Group 9 led by 28 points at half-time with a sensational try to Jeffery being one of the highlights.
Goodwin said he was looking forward to playing at Singleton on May 31.
“It was good to make it,” he said.
“Willie Heta and Andrew Cowhan were unlucky not to make it as well as they played very well.”
Coach Daniel Fitzhenry said it was a game of two halves.
“In the second half I think the boys switched off and all credit to Group 20 they came back and we were lucky that the time ran out,” he said.
“In the first half we held the ball and in the second half we didn’t, and all the points were scored by whoever held the ball.”
As expected Group 9 dominated the squad, with 12 of the 18 players coming from the victorious team.
