With Rachel Jeffery leading the way with 18 points and Stacey De Koeyer providing good support with 14 points and nine rebounds, the home team had just enough in reserve to clinch victory.
In the men, the North East Bushrangers went down to Pakenham 74-58.
Jon Lindhe and Darcy Locke scored 10 points each for the Bushrangers but 32 turnovers for the match hurt them dearly.
Josh McKay was also disqualified for the match.
