President Tonia Timmermans said the club, chartered in 1988, would hold an information night at Albury’s Manor House on Tuesday to provide women with an insight into the club’s projects.
Ms Timmermans said Zonta members from the district as well as local members would be available to speak with guests.
She said the club had held functions and had raised money for various projects, scholarships and donations including a wheelchair donated annually for palliative care, one scholarship a year for a senior student and participation in International Women’s Day, meals on wheels, and relay for life.
Ms Timmermans said the club also held social functions such as film and theatre nights.
Most recently the club received a grant for the provision of a carers’ room at Albury Base Hospital.
The information night will be held on Tuesday at 6pm.
Details are available from Ms Timmermans on (02) 6023 3994 or 0408 23 3944.
