Four men are alleged to have gone to a Banff Street home in Corowa where two of them broke into the house, stealing the keys to a Ford XR6 which they used to drive to Coreen football ground.
The men are alleged to have broken into the football club building where a cash register and beer and spirits valued at about $600 were stolen, before they headed back to Corowa.
The inside of the car was damaged.
It was recovered by police when they caught the men, six kilometres out of Corowa about 11.30pm.
Four of the men, aged between 19 and 25, were arrested and have been charged with two counts of aggravated break and enter and being carried in a conveyance knowing it was stolen.
The driver of the vehicle, 25, has also been charged with driving a stolen vehicle, driving while disqualified and driving under the influence.
Inspector David Cottee said police were continuing their inquiries with a fifth man from the group.
Three men appeared in Albury Local Court yesterday and each were released on stringent bail conditions.
Dylan Johnson, Dale Fewquadie and Benjamin Dinan each had two counts of aggravated break and enter adjourned until October 27 with the preparation of a police brief of evidence ordered to be completed 10 days earlier.
Johnson, 20, has been ordered to live with his father in Albury, after being put on $1000 bail with a similar surety.
He has to report to police three times weekly and abide by a 7pm to 7am curfew.
Fewquadie, 19, of Malbeck Court, Corowa, is on $1000 bail with a similar surety and an 8pm to 9am curfew.
Solicitor Joy Kirby said when applying for bail that Fewquadie had moved to the Corowa area from Queensland with his partner and 17-month-old child.
They are living in Department of Housing accommodation.
Dinan, 25, of Adams Street, Corowa, is on $2000 bail with a similar amount for surety.
Magistrate Tony Murray imposed an 8pm to 9am curfew after being told Dinan would live with his partner and two children.
Police prosecutor Sgt Rowan Harris said Dinan had been charged with disqualified driving which would breach a suspended jail sentence and bond which he is on at present.
