It’s bad enough that our fluffy friends have to “go” in public, but the humiliation of having to leave the evidence behind distresses them even more.
Dogs witness their humans using all kinds of methods to avoid picking up after them, including the “if I didn’t see it, my dog never did it” strategy, the “walk away straight away” technique and in some cases, the “bend and pretend” collection.
Dogs know that it’s no pleasure for their humans to have to pick up after them, but they try to make up for it by being loving, loyal companions.
They just don’t understand how their people can forget to take bags with them when they go out walking, especially with all the gadgets that make it so easy to carry bags with their leads.
