3.32PM: Paramedics are treating Weaver's feet.
3.24PM: Weaver has come down from the roof and is in police custody
3.23PM: Weaver has moved onto the roof of the next house.
The owners of the previous home, where the siege started, are believed to be away.
3.07PM: The man on the roof has been confirmed as Rowan Weaver, a 24-year-old who has been on the run from police for at least a month.
Police are now putting on bullet-proof vests and appear to be preparing to enter the house as Weaver becomes more agitated.
He is yelling and smashing tiles.
There are at least 50 people gathered in the street and witnesses say Weaver's mother, father, sister and grandfather have all attended the scene to try and talk him into coming down.
The Border Mail also spoke directly to Weaver's ex-girlfriend, who brought his one-year-old son to the scene. She seemed disappointed that it did not help to convince him to come down.
Police issued arrest warrants for Weaver in May and September over a string of charges related to traffic offences, intimidation offences, assault, aggravated break and enter and other charges.
2.30PM: A MAN has threatened to throw roof tiles at police in a siege currently taking place in Lavington.
Witnesses say the man has been on the roof of a Schaefer St home since about 12.15pm.
He is wearing only shorts, has a t-shirt wrapped around his head and is carrying sunglasses.
There are at least five police cars on the scene, with about a dozen officers surrounding the home.
There are suggestions the man is a person-of-interest who police have been trying to track for several days, but The Border Mail has been unable to confirm this with police.
Witnesses say he was ripping roof tiles off the house, which is not his home, at one stage and threatening to throw them at officers.
He is currently waving at passers-by.
