Agent Andrew Dixon, from Albury’s LJ Colquhoun Dixon, said the level of inquiry in the substantial property “has been quiet”.
“There are people we are still talking to, but nothing has been concluded at this stage,” Mr Dixon said.
The subdued interest, he said, was not surprising given the size and unique nature of the site.
Mr Dixon said he also would not have expected there to be many buyers about for such a property.
And it was still too early, he said, to tell whether there would be someone out there willing to buy the former sports club.
The property on offer includes the two-level club building, car park, bowling grounds and surrounding land.
Forty people lost their jobs when the club was closed by the Panthers Group in early August.
This was blamed on accumulated debts of $8 million.
Bowlers have continued to use the greens and clubhouse located on the western edge of the 4.8 hectare property.
Mr Dixon has previously said there was “enormous value” in the property, providing a unique opportunity for a “creative developer”.
