The creepy folk are being brought to life for Albury’s inaugural zombie walk which is expected to attract more than 60 participants.
It is a joint Halloween project of Albury Council and Fiona Bullock, who operates the Gothic and Horror Shop in Mate Street, North Albury.
Mrs Bullock said walkers of all ages were welcome and were encouraged to dress up, although it was not compulsory.

The event starts at 5.30pm from Mrs Bullock’s shop at 1078 Mate Street and runs along Griffith Road to the Lavington library where a free barbecue will be held.
Wodonga Council will also host a zombie walk this afternoon.
Those aged 12 and over are encouraged to get involved in the activity which involves scary make-up being applied to transform participants into zombies.
The event begins at 3.30pm in The Cube courtyard.
