MURRAY River: The water is high and the fish are on the go. Cod are being caught with worms, yabbies, cheese, bardi grubs and spinnerbaits, while yellowbelly will go for the baits and lures. Also up at the dam wall the trout will go on the baits and lures, while some nice, fat redfin are being caught, but not that many. Take care on the water.

Mitta River: A good week again for the cod and trout down at the Hume end of the river. The cod are being caught with all baits and lures and up the river the trout are taking the baits and small lures, also with the flies. The river is high so stay safe.
Kiewa River: Not much to say about trout along the river — one or two here and there — but down the Murray end some good cod and yellowbelly have been going home for a feed. Thank you Joe for the nice bit of cod I got to eat, so get your baits and lures into the water and see how you go for a feed of fish.
Kids, keep those photos of your fish coming in for The Hook trophy of the year. Some good photos have been sent in.
Yesterday the Mitta River was stocked with 20,000 Murray cod.
