Mr Anderson, a Cudgewa resident who labels himself a wandering minstrel, gave many impromptu performances.
“It’s great to be a part of such a great festival,” he said.
“I attended the very first one 18 years ago.
“There’s more markets these days and certainly more people.”
The three-day festival, which started on Friday, attracted about 10,000 people.
Among the large line-up of local performers were Australian and overseas artists.
Paige Rolfe, of Yackandandah, and her daughter Imogen enjoyed the act.
“We really enjoy the markets and it’s great to see the local music talent,” Mrs Rolfe said.
“We go to a lot of festivals each year and this one is great because it is in our home town.”
Mrs Rolfe said her daughter enjoyed getting up close to some of the roving performers.
