ORGANISERS of tomorrow’s Milk Run expect to attract a large field in the lead-up to the Nail Can Hill event.
The annual Kiewa-Tangambalanga Lions Club family fun run and walk, sponsored by Murray Goulburn, involves a six or 10-kilometre option that takes the trail across the Sandy Creek bridge.
Organiser Eric Thompson said registrations had grown every year.
“It’s a great way to enjoy our fabulous autumn weather and spend time with family and friends,” he said.
“Many people take part as a lead-up to next month’s Nail Can Hill run.
“Some take it seriously, while others see it as more of a social event.”
Money raised goes to charity. The Lions Club organised event starts at 10am at Huon Reserve, with registrations available from 8.30am.
Entry is $10 per adult and $20 a family, with a sausage sizzle and Murray Goulburn products included in the entry fee.
