During this time we have been diligent in ensuring that zero green waste ever left our property and with the use of compost bins and a mulching-chipping lawn mower never had to.
Every last piece of kitchen and garden waste has been converted to reusable compost.
We now hear that these efforts will soon be rewarded with a green bin and a charge of $300 per year.
Is this what we should expect from our wayward council.
Not a pat on the back but a spit in the face?
