Norths have numerous attacking options with Janessa Leggatt and the lively Jaymie Plas leading the goal scorers.
The defending premiers midfield experience with Leah Wilesmith and Brooke Purtell has also been strengthened by the return of influential captain Nan Latta.
Georgia McCormick will lead the Magpies defence.
The experience of captain Erin McNair and dominant midfielders Sam Daly and Kate Mason will also need to be evident for Magpies to be a genuine threat.
