Falls Creek is now covered in about 50cm of snow with all but two of 14 lifts open.
Spokesman Chris Hocking said a large contingent of Melbourne residents had gone to the mountain at the weekend, along with Border residents.
“There are a lot of smiles on faces up here,” he said.
“Things are going along nicely now.
“It didn’t snow much during June but we have had good snowfall recently.”
Natural snowfall has also been compliment by man-made snow, with good conditions for the snow making machines.
“There are great surface conditions,” Mr Hocking said.
