The Albury High School Portrait Prize will be officially opened at the Albury LibraryMuseum on Thursday from 5pm until 6pm.
Students from Albury High, West Albury Public, Albury Public and Howlong Public schools have entered about 300 artworks.
Visual arts teacher Sharon McEachern said the show coincided with the Archibald Prize, in which the subject of the winning entry hailed from Albury.
The exhibition runs until August 28.
