The defending league champions have scored 21 goals in three games under new coach Caron Stiler.
Boomers themselves banged in 12 against Twin City last week but will be missing Tina Schilg, while there is a question mark over Jess Noordewier.
Diamonds defender Bonnie Denison believes a frank session between players and the new coach has been the key to the resurgence.
“With the transition of coaches we had a heart to heart about our performances, what we wanted out of the year and now we are playing like a team,” she said.
“We don’t generally score a lot of goals but all of a sudden the girls have more confidence, are taking more shots and they’re going in.
“We expected tough games against Myrtleford and Melrose but came away with big wins but have now missed two weeks of training.
“Boomers will be tough.”
