Octonauts Live Australia, based on the children's television program, hit the Albury Entertainment Centre stage for two shows that staff said attracted close to 900 people in total.
Afterwards the audience, mostly young along with parents and grandparents, streamed out of the theatre, a number clutching showbags and lights as mementos of their day.
For Zac Grant, 5, and his sister Ashlee, 10, of Table Top, there was no question but to come and see a live version of their favourite TV show.
"They're big Octonaut fans," their mother Glenys said.
"It's the one that's got to come on every day."
