The Lake Hume Tourist Park was targeted 2am Friday by three would-be thieves, who unsuccessfully smashed the front door of the reception and side cafe door.
Manager Vicki, who asked that her last name be withheld, said the incident was pointless as there was no cash kept on the premises.
“It’s frustrating and it makes you feel unsafe,” she said.
“All they were going to get was some food.
“They didn’t get in but they caused a lot of damage.”
The resort had been targeted the previous Saturday with a safe jemmied off a wall by two people and smashed open.
The safe did not contain any cash.
“We have security cameras and we’ve given the footage of both incidents to police,” Vicki said.
Friday’s incident was one of three attempted break-ins on the Border.
The Baranduda aquatic centre was targeted about 1.30am and the Yackandanda sports park broken into.
