No-one could get a game on Ridley until the semi-finals and grand finals, but Ridley still only gave up two games for the entire weekend, an impressive feat given the calibre of players in attendance, a number of whom rank in the Australian top 10.
Fresh from a wildcard performance in the Australian Goldfields Open in Bendigo, the number two ranked Ridley cruised to victory over Richard Peric 4-1 in the best of seven grand final.
Ridley has now focused his attention on the Australian National Men's Snooker championship, which starts on August 14 in Melbourne.
